Retro Stripe
As part of my final year placement in Arnotts, I had the opportunity to install a major display project. We were given a colour scheme and trend to follow so that our displays matched others found in-store. Under the theme, 'Lifestyle Curators,' I focused on interiors but incorporated an element of fashion to my display. I researched WGSN for the latest trends and was influenced by the ‘Creative Manifesto’ trend which I felt I could incorporate into my display as well as the theme Arnotts had provided me with.
I decided to include every colour in the chosen palette. I cut my boards to size, prepped and painted them. My styling was based on my display as I took influence from the stripe of colour featured on my front board. Fortunately, I found an outfit that incorporated the stripe. Moving this display from store to the graduate exhibition, I have added to the display, making it bigger.
