Airing is Caring
IKEA asked me to design an outdoor laundry display for their Home Organisation department. I wanted the overall look and feel to be fresh with whites and blues in focus. Myself and IKEA’s shared passion to live a more conscious and caring life was to the forefront in the design process. The aim was to inspire the customer to engage in a more sustainable lifestyle by drying their clothes outside this summer. Outdoor drying has lots of great benefits so I wanted to showcase how the process can be both fun and rewarding. Elements of nature and playfulness elevate the display techniques to create an eye-catching solution. Repetition is used throughout to showcase the multi-functionality and hidden benefits of each product. These tie together to create an insightful shopping experience.
