Love Preloved
With this installation, I wanted to convey the sustainable message of Siopaella in an accessible manner. As the effects of fast fashion become increasingly apparent, consumers are discovering the joy and creativity in preloved clothing. I kept materials simple, accenting the preexisting fixtures in store. A gentle colour palette brings a freshness to the display while allowing the product to pop. As space is constrained, it was important for me to create a floating display. Fixtures are suspended towards the centre of the window, helping to create a more open sense of space, as well as establishing a strong focal point. Every material for this installation was recycled, from the wooden panelling to mixing leftover paints.
