Luxury Hotel
The aim of my project was to convert the Google Headquarters building into an iconic 5-star luxury hotel. Also known as the Montevetro Building and currently considered the tallest commercial building in Dublin, it is one of the European headquarters of the high technology companies located in the Grand Canal Docks. I made this luxury hotel, aiming for the highest standards of living in such an area to meet the residents’ expectations and beyond.
This luxury hotel is a welcoming haven with distinctive curvilinear designs inspired by my concept. This is reflected mainly on the design of the atrium structure, reception area, lounge, bar and restaurant and hotel bedrooms. The lobby of the reception is a double floor height with screens and feature lightings. I decided to add bends and curves along the atrium, both vertically and horizontally. This was to create more movement in the straightforward geometric pattern of the building’s interior. The hotel provides an upmarket restaurant and bar, welcoming guests and locals alike. It also provides prestigious retail markets and shops, as well as a number of spacious rooms and suites with floor to ceiling windows.
