Discon Catheter Bag
This project is the solution to a recent clinical issue among hospitals. Discon is an alternative to the current urinal catheter bags you might find in hospitals today. Such bags are emptied with open measuring jugs, leaving care providers in vulnerable situations on busy corridors and in A&E, while the content they are carrying may have infectious substances present. Discon allows the user to disconnect the main container and carry the content safely through corridors, leaving the user in full control of the fluid. Discon also reduces the visibility of the content for the discretion of the patient, with material selection and reduced view panels. With Discon, the user’s experience has become safer, more efficient and cared for.
