The aim of this project was to create a product that extended family time in the home. The product focuses on the dining experience shared among family. The materials and shapes were chosen for their welcoming and familiarity to people - natural wood breeds a positive mentality and circular shapes are more comforting than boxy shapes.
There are a lot of positive benefits to spending time with one's family, both physiological and psychological. By encouraging the family to spend time together regularly, strengthened family bonds can lead to a happier outlook and more positive behaviour.
