Flow Sailing Helmet

‘Flow’ is a helmet designed to reduce head injury in sailing. Traditionally helmets are not used while sailing as they prevent wind from making contact with the head. This disturbance makes predicting the wind direction and wind speed difficult (Two crucial fundamentals of sailing.)
As a result of this disturbance, the sailor's awareness is reduced and this may expose the sailor to more danger.

With traditional helmets, wind is disturbed by the chin strap, Flow’s strapless design means the wind is no longer disturbed. The undisturbed wind reaches the sailors head through a number of cut outs, where the sailor is most sensitive to the wind, resulting in increased awareness and safety for the user.
